Operating since 2016, IGC Group is a company driven by passionate first-generation entrepreneurs having an understanding of all packaging needs. The company has set standards for manufacturing jumbo bags of the highest quality and durability. The unit is located in Indore.
With quality manufacturing & prompt service at the core of our heart, IGC believes in a healthy lifestyle and produces a focused range of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) catering specifically to small and large scale industries.
Back in 2016, when we started operations, our objective was to strive towards becoming the most reliable and trusted supplier of FIBC jumbo bags. With the support and optimism shown by our clients towards our products, we have been successfully able to do so. Through these years, we have been an integral part of many small and large scale industries in India, UK, Spain, Italy, Israel, Greece, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, France, Middle East and Russia.
With an innovative approach and the desire to keep getting better, we provide our customers with solutions to grow their business while ensuring that their packaging needs are cared for. Over the years, we have been communicating with our clients to understand the challenges faced, and our innovative and flexible range of products has only made packaging easier for them.
Meet the Minds behind IGC
Besides being a team of highly skilled people, IGC is an individual ownership firm that is a family run business by a couple, Mrs Anita Singh and Mr M P Singh.
Mrs Anita Singh - Founder
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs Anita Singh is a post-graduate from DAVV University. She has always been known amongst the family members for developing solid values in the family. She has always emphasised respecting ethical values at work and developing long term relationships. She was involved in various social activities, and she chose to be actively engaged in business in 2016 by establishing IGC Petrochem. By integrating her values of serving society and people along with industry, the IGC group is today working for women empowerment. That is an initiative taken by her, and the whole IGC team stands committed to the cause.
Mr M.P. Singh - Co-Founder & CEO
Mr M P Singh is a graduate of DAVV University. He started his professional career at the age of 18 years. It was back in 1988 when Mr Singh chose to enter into the polymer, chemical and packaging. In the last 33 years of his experience in this domain, he has tried to learn every aspect of the industry by working on a grassroots level.
With his initial involvement in Chemicals and Petrochemical products marketing until 1994, he set up a Plastic Recycling facility in 1995 and from there, the manufacturing journey got a kick start. Since then, Mr Singh has been involved and has lead various small, medium and large projects in plastic recycling, packaging, synthetic rope, petrochemical etc.
In 2004, the interest shifted to Middle East Dubai, and he worked for large corporates and assisted them in handling various trading and manufacturing projects. In addition, he has been involved in the development of multiple products for packaging. Finally, in 2016 he and his wife established IGC Petrochem, which was initially engaged in trading and distributing Petrochemical downstream products and export of FIBC.
In the late 2020s, under the guidance of this dynamic couple, the IGC group entered into FIBC manufacturing as a backward integration of FIBC Export. The idea was to establish a facility that is not known merely as a business entity; the IGC group would like to be known as one of the companies that work for social causes.
At the same time, we firmly believe that our team is our greatest strength. Hence, we attach great importance to training our employees, motivating them, and continuously improving their welfare and safety. We are blessed to have a highly skilled workforce, innovative and one-hearted.
Our Manufacturing Facility
The quality of a product is highly dependent on the machine infrastructure. Therefore, to give our esteemed clients the best of services and the finest quality of products, we ensure that we are always keeping pace with time when it comes to technological advancements regarding our infrastructure.
With a state-of-the-art plant built over an area of 60000 sq. ft., and another production facility spread over 120,000 sq. ft. expected to be ready by 2022, we are located in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) with all ultramodern facilities adhering to industrial requirements. The current capacity of production is 6000 MT per annum, which will double by 2022.
At the current unit, we produce various kinds of FIBCs with a capacity to hold 500kg to 2000kg with a safety ratio of 5:1 or 6:1 (5:1 for single-use and 6:1 for multiple uses). In addition, we provide coated / uncoated bags and LDPE liners used inside the bag to prevent moisture.
We are an ISO 22000:2018 certified company, and we are committed to maintaining the highest quality standards by following best manufacturing practices.
